Summer Nature Camp
Our camp program focuses on discoveries in the natural world, be it in the forest, the wetland or meadows. New discoveries are made each day. Exploration of habitats, animal tracking and learning survival skills will help campers understand our place in nature and have fun doing it!
Age: for children ages 6-12
For 2019 the following camp schedule is available:
Camp 1: July 1 - 5
Camp 2: July 8 -12
Camp 3: July 15- 19
Camp 4: July 22 - 26
Camp 5: July 29 - August 2
Programs and acitivties include eco-fishing, kayaking and canoeing, predator-prey games, bug collections, raising butterflies and moths, plant pressing, sampling aquatic invertebrates, water quality sampling, interactive group games, orienteering challenges, carbon calculators and measuring ecological footprints, frog monitoring, weather studies, plant a butterfly garden, web of life games and more.
