July Frolic with the Wild Foragers Society - July 28
Come join us for this co-hosted event with the Wild Foragers Society. They first formed in April 2013 and are a group of like minded folks who have a passion for learning about the edible landscape. Started by a pair of enthusiasts, not experts, we wanted to provide a safe space for sharing lived and learned knowledge around wild plants and so we started hosting a meet-up (or ‘frolic’) once a month on a seasonally relevant topic with anyone/everyone welcome to join.
Besure to mark your calendars for this one on July 28th from 10am to 1pm at the Gamiing Nature Centre.

Wild at Heart - Forest School
A Wednesday full of adventure, laughter, and friendship. There is something magical when girls come together. Wild at Heart fosters a sense of belonging in nature. The girls will be exploring forests, wading through wetlands, lighting campfires and foraging their own teas.
At Forest School we learn about the ethics & responsibilities of wildcrafting, foraging spruce tips, dandelion & nettle AND enjoying the yummy food in our bellies.
Thinking about Forest School?
We want to see this program grow! Keep your eyes out for the Fall 2019 programs coming soon.
